Reinstall Via Powershell
In cases where Edge browser doesn’t work properly then reinstalling Microsoft Edge can be helpful. This is how you can do.
Use your keyboard and press- Windows key + S simultaneously and then type – powershell. Right click- Windows Powershell and choose- Run as administrator
You will be prompted for administrator permission where you need to click- Yes
Copy and paste the command – Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”} in Powershell window.
Wait until the process completes. Now try the Edge once again.
Clean Boot the Computer
In case you are facing the issue for the first time with the Edge browser the first thing that needs to be done is to restart the system or rather go for a clean boot. It helps to run the computer using a less number of programs and drivers. Let us learn how to do it
From your keyboard press- Windows key + R together and then type- msconfig and hit – Enter
Head to the tab- Services and check the box- Hide all Microsoft services. Now click the button- Disable all.
Head to the tab – Startup and click- Open Task Manager
Select every item that appears in the list and then clicks- Disable
Now close the Task Manager and then restart your computer
Group Policy Editor can be useful
Use your keyboard to press- Windows key + S together and type- group policy and then click- Edit group policy.
Now towards the left of the pane move to- Computer Configuration – Administrative Templates- Windows Components.
Now click – Allow deployment operations in special profiles towards the right of the pane.
Click- Enabled and then click – Apply and then OK
Reinstall your Windows 10
