Fix Certificate errors in Internet Explorer

Select and click – “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl”
In the edit menu choose “New” and click- key
In new key box type – “FEATURE_ERROR_PAGE_BYPASS_ZONE_CHECK_FOR_HTTPS_KB954312”
Select – New from the edit menu and select = “DWORD Value”
In value box type – iexplorer.exe and press- enter
Select- Modify from the edit menu and then enter- “1” in modification section and then click – OK.
Close registry editor and then open your IE to check if the certificate error has been resolved.
Well, the error occurs often due to the wrong date on your computer. As security certificate comes with a valid duration the wrong date set up on your computer can be the reason for this error. You may get a message for security certificate errors while you are browsing a particular site. So, make sure you check the date set on your PC. You may end up browsing the site without any errors after you set the correct date on your system. In case this doesn’t work another reason could be the expiry of security certificate of a website or may the website is not trustworthy. In such cases make sure you do not enter your login credentials on the page where you get security certificate errors.
Check for IE errors in system files

Select Tools and click Internet options
Select Security—trusted site—sites
Confirm- URL matches and click- “Add” and close
Click – Cancel or OK to close Internet options
